He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Blanchard and Elizabeth Blanchard; his brother Elmer Blanchard (Irene); his son Edward Blanchard (Janice); and his brother-in-law Albert Skelton (Hazel).
He is survived by: his daughter Diane MacNeil; his daughter-in-law Janice Blanchard; his grandchildren, Robert Johnson (Miranda), Brittany McAdams (Ryan), Brianna MacNeil (Nathaniel), Jessica, Justin (Marjorie) and Kevin Blanchard; his great grandchildren, Autumn, Robbie Johnson, Carter Blanchard and Riley McAdams; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aubrie, Ellie Jones and Lynden McAdams; and his sisters, Hazel Skelton, Shirley Nyrose (Elmer) and Elain (John).
