He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Krawetz and Olga Krawetz; his son Eric; his sister Mary Krawetz; his siblings-in-law, Debra McLean, Blair Simpson and Garry McLean; and his parents-in-law, Douglas and Marie Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Melissa Kroeker (Benjamin) and Nicholas (Natalia); his grandchildren, Lev and Yan; and his sisters, Janice, Donna (Jerry) and Patricia (Russ). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Brain Canada Foundation or Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
