She is survived by: the father of her children Paul Valdez; her parents, Wibishet Alehign and Kuribachew Mengesga; her aunt Minishnesh Mengesha; her sister Bezawit Alehign; her nephews, Nahom Thomas and Kidus Thomas; her niece Belen Thomas; her brother Willy Gooding; and also, Terome Valdez, Selena Valdez and Bonita Valdez. She is also survived by her aunties, uncles, numerous cousins, and close friends.
