We are sad to announce that, on August 2, 2024, at the age of 21, Shaelyn Skye Gauthier (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Christie Ann Gauthier; her grandfather Paul Gauthier; and her pets, Nibbles and Tiger. She is survived by: her grandparents, Sandy Gauthier, Mitch Huyghebaert and John Enns (Nora); her uncle Ryan Gauthier; her aunt Ell Hastings; her father Lance Barylski (Ashley); her siblings, Cassie, Dylan, Connor, Chase, Ciara and Long; her close friend Hallie Mell; and her pet Bella.

She was an honours student in high school, graduating from Garden City Collegiate in 2020, being one of many students who was unable to celebrate her graduation due to Covid.

In lieu of flowers, Shaelyn's memory can be honored with donations made in her name to either of the following: Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba, 4 Fort Street, Winnipeg, MB., R3C 1C4, 204-786-0987, Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Wpg, MB., R3T 0R3, 204-663-9401.
