It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Halbesma (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry. She is survived by: her children, Doreen (Jan), Pat (late Allan), Cathy, Stan (Deb), Len (Jan) and Don (Monica); and her siblings, Margaret (Peter) and John (Rita). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
