She was predeceased by: her husband Ernie; her parents, Malvina Smith and Wilfred Smith; her stepfather Harry Morrick (Pop); her sister Phyllis Kartinen; and her son-in-law Ken Kulbaba.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Mott, Susan Mott (Kulbaba), Allan Mott (Grace), Laurie Bowman (Bill), Linda Stark (Hans) and Janet Davies. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She loved hosting home cooked meals for her family every Sunday up until the time of Covid.
