He was predeceased by : his brother Harry; his brothers-in-law, Menno, Jake, John, George and Bert; and his parents, Helen Banman and Cornelius Banman.

He is survived by : his wife Helen Banman; his children, Chris, Brian (Angie) and Elaine (Matt); his siblings, George, Dennis (Frieda), Helen (John) and Mary; and his siblings-in-law, Leona, Kathy, Nettie, Cornie, Peter, Martin, Mary, Agatha and Anne. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Transcona Christian Reformed Church (131 Victoria Ave W, Winnipeg, MB R2C1S6). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Transcona Cemetery (5014 Dugald Rd, Winnipeg, MB R2J4H4).
