She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominica Syrotiuk and Stanislaw Syrotiuk; and her siblings, Mary (Leroy Prevost), Olga (Bill Senchychych), Annie Syrotiuk, Zena, Paul Marusenko, Inga, Ben Demchenko and Sam Spence.

She is survived by: her children, Serge Demchenko (Connie), Alexandra Demchenko, Fred Demchenko, Victor Demchenko, Philip Demchenko (Andrea), Margaret Demchenko-Manegold (Dean), Odarka Demchenko, Natalia Collette (Paul) and Boris Demchenko (Heather); and her grandchildren, Roman Demchenko (Elizabeth), Tisa Hawboldt (Will), Peter Demchenko, Katrina Demchenko, Rachelle Collette, Sara Collette, Nadia Demchenko and Nickolas Manegold. She is also survived by nine children and 8 grandchildren.

A prayer was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Mary the Protectess Cathedral (820 Burrows Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2X0R2). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Mary (353 St Mary Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3C0M8).
