He is survived by: his wife Monica (Nee Massey); his parents, Greg Schmidt and Juliette "Julie" Schmidt; his children, Adam (Emmalene) and Erika (Grant); his brothers, Michael, Philip (Christine) and David (Lynda); and his close friend Kaye Kameron.
