Tillie Laba Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tillie Laba (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nick Laba; her former husband Fred Steinke; her daughter Beverley; and her son-in-law Jim Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy, Ken Steinke (Irene) and Daria; her pet Benji; her grandchildren, Tracey (Mark), Tara (Todd), Jeff, Simon (Trina), David (Corinne), Kevin (Meagan) and Brian (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Will (Dayna), Kyle, Chase, Cole, Kaden, Harry, Ruby, Brittney, Rhyanna, Vayda, Hazel, Emery and Sara; her great great grandchildren, Brayden and Taya; and her sister Nora Froehlich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tillie's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba (1379 Kenaston Blvd) or the Winnipeg Humane Society (45 Hurst Way).
