She was predeceased by: her parents, John Banman and Justina Banman; her husband Kenneth Schaak; her brother John Banman; her sister-in-law Lavern; her brother Jake Banman; and her siblings-in-law, Carol and Henry Funk.
She is survived by: her daughter Gwen Peters (Peter); her grandchildren, Kristin Wiebe (Matt), Marcie Peters and Ryan Peters; and her siblings, Elsie Bergen (Isaac), Ike Banman (Elsie), Jesse Funk, Abe Banman (Shirley) and Fred Banman (Kim). She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
