He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marija Horvat and Karel Knaus (Markovci); his wife Kristina; his sisters, Juliska, Agnes and Jolanka; his daughter Margaret Préfontaine (Guy); and his grandchildren, David (Gloria), Michelle, Gregory (Hailey) and Camille.
