She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Monchka and Steve Monchka; her husband Peter Swintak; her children, Cynthia Plustwa and Daniel Swintak; her grandson Christopher Swintak; her sister Victoria; her brother-in-law Nick Galay; her sister Nettie; her siblings-in-law, Chris Yakielashek, Miron, Florence Swintak, Orest, Mary Swintak and Helen; and her niece Gail Swintak.

She is survived by: her children, Theresa Gnutel (Mark) and Greg Swintak (Tracey); her grandchildren, Nathan Plustwa (Jessie-Mae), Shawn Plustwa (Brooke), Kasia and Tiana Swintak; her great grandchild Cynthia Plustwa; her brother Elmer Monchka (Linda); her son-in-law Ken Plustwa (Holly); and her siblings-in-law, Walter and Dianne Swintak. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
