She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert Benstead (Bobby); her husband Taras Diachun; and her mother Vicci. She is survived by: her son Steven Benstead; and her nieces and nephews, Nadine McLean (Tim), Simone Mazerolle (Bernard), Alison Ross, Hilary Garnett, Heather Northcotte (Guy), Lynne Edwards, Derrick Baker (Mary), Graham Atkinson (Carol) and Richard Atkinson (Sue).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2W3V7). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
