He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Victor; his parents, Frank and Katharina; and his sister Lisa.
He is survived by: his children, Art Unger (Sharon), Fred Unger (Kathy) and Rich Unger; his grandchildren, Angela Clarke (Jeff), Josh and Ben Unger; and his sister Ella Federau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
