With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter George McLarty (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Louise (Sheppard); his parents, George McLarty and Evelyn McLarty; his parents-in-law, Milo and Kay Sheppard; and his brother-in-law Moir Thompson (Carol).
He is survived by: his son Ian (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Connor, Emily (Charles) and Bethany; his daughter Tara Brown (Jeffrey); his granddaughters, Helen and Grace; his sister Carol; and his brothers-in-law, Richard (Kim) and Wesley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3).
If friends so desire, donations may be made in Walter's memory to a charity of choice.
