It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Kawka (Winnipeg, Manitoba), born in Neepawa, Manitoba, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick and Anne; his sister Jean McRitchie; and his brothers-in-law, George Duna, Todd Sawchuk and James McRitchie (Tiny).
He is survived by: his wife Eve; his sister Shirley Sawchuk; and his nephew Darren Sawchuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
