He was predeceased by: his siblings, Josie, Jennie, Anne, Bill, Mike and Maurice (Jean); and his parents, John Kohut and Effie Kohut (Sirkiziuk).
He is survived by: his son Blaine (Tanya); his grandchildren, Caitlyne, Chelsea and Tim; his siblings, Peter and Elsie Wabick (Don); his siblings-in-law, Leon Krochenski (Ann) and Stella Kohut; and his close friend Walter Diachun. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
