He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Michele and Garth (Cheri); his grandsons, Stephen Wood, Brooks Reimer and Carter Reimer; and his siblings, Elsie, Ernie and Hilda.

Wally and Carole spent many peaceful moments enjoying Bathania's gardens and ask that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 'Well Project' at Bethania.
