It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Starr (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Starr and Flora Starr; and his siblings, Flora Letander, Christine Bird, Lucille Bruyere, Bertha Starr, Muriel Fontaine, George, Cecil and Douglas.

He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy and Clifton; his close friend Linda; his daughters, Carol Guimond (Vern), Evelyn Guimond (Kurt), Maureen Courchene (Allister) and Amanda Whitesell; and his siblings, John Starr and Grace Wozny. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews, and other extended family and friends.
