William DOUGLAS Carey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William DOUGLAS Carey (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Carey and Dick Carey; his aunt Evie; and his wife Maisie Carey. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie (Tony), Susan (Lee) and Julie (Kon); his grandchildren, Sarah (Dave), Josh (Meghan), Jamie (Rose), Katie, Danny (Brooklyn) and Greg (Maggie); and his close friend Dick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Anglican Church (299 Balderstone Rd, West Saint Paul, MB R4A5A2).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to either Jocelyn House, The Winnipeg Humane Society or the Lung Association.
