It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Prysizney (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Prysizney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Popadynetz; his parents, Anthony Prysizney and Wasylena Prysizney; and his siblings, Walter, Alex, Anne Barbolak and Stella Winzinowich.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Weretyk (John) and Garry Prysizney (Debi); his grandchildren, Adam, Jason (Denise) and Jennifer Weretyk; his great grandchild Arianna Weretyk; his sister Jean Beznoski; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Zaluski, Adeline Popadynetz and Norman Popadynetz (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family regrets that due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private viewing on Saturday, January 16, 2021 with interment at St. Stephen's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Pleasant Home, Manitoba with The Rev. Fr. Evan Maximiuk officiating.
