He was predeceased by: his wife Claire; his grandchildren, Jessica (Chad Kornik), Shaun Bonneteau (Nicole), Janelle Bonneteau (Réjean Deschambault), Jacques Beaudette, Patrick Beaudette (Kim) and Justin Fillion; and his great grandchildren, Jordon Fillion (Jenna Michaud), Sophia, Christopher (Calista Nowell) and Michael Steffes (Megan Kehler).
He is survived by: his children, Doreen (Roger Bonneteau), Jacqueline (Rhéal Beaudette), René (Lucia) and Elaine (Trevor Steffes); his sisters, Florence Collette and Fernande Damphouse; and his siblings-in-law, Gilberte Fillion, Agathe Deblois, Agnès (Paul-Henri Valiquette), Claudette (Guy Laurencelle), Gertrude Fiola, Lucille Lambert and Richard Lambert (Marilyn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
