With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zelma Smith (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank and Edith Irwin; her siblings, Ina, Margaret, Sylvia, Earlton and Herbert; and her great grandchild Nalah.

She is survived by : her husband Cecil; her children, Norma, Clinton, Winsome (Madge) and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Dexter, Christopher, Byron and Michael; her great grandchild Karis; and her siblings, Caroleigh (Lynnette), Clarice and Hector. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, many friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada.
