Il laisse dans le deuil : ses parents, Edouard Doiron (Lucie Basque) et Irène Gionet (feu Léo Savoie); ses fils, Robert et Julien; la mère de ses enfants Francine; et ses frères et soeurs, Bertha Larocque, Karine Doiron, Christine Doiron, Ian (Manon) et Pascal. Il laisse également dans le deuil plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins et cousines.

Dans les circonstances de pandémie actuelles, les funérailles auront lieu en l'église Christ-Roi d'Allardville le jeudi 20 août sur invitation seulement.
