He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick DeLeavey and Wilda DeLeavey (Johnson Tompkins); his wife Annie; his children, Michael and Barbara; his grandson Jamie Paris; and his siblings, Wylie DeLeavey (late Betty) and Glenna Henry (late Donald).

He is survived by: his children, Judy DeLeavey of Drummond, Susan Paris (Wayne) of Bouctouche and Jeoffrey DeLeavey (Shirley) of Anfield; his grandchildren, Sherri (Gilbert Lagacé) of Drummond, Scott Paris (Carol) of St-Antoine, NB, Glen DeLeavey (Laurie) of Ottawa and Dean DeLeavey (Sydney) of Grand Falls; his great grandchildren, Hunter Lagacé, Mathew Paris, Jordyn Paris, Brody Paris, Ivy DeLeavey and Henry DeLeavey; and his siblings, Leigh DeLeavey (Dorothy), Emery DeLeavey (Lucy) of New Denmark, Alvena Goodine (late David) of Crombie Settlement and Donna Francoeur (Rino) of Anfield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
