He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hilton and Cora Beatrice Hunter (Palmer); his grandson Trevor Davis; his sisters, Hazel Inman, Floris Gibson and Faye Calhoun; his nephews, Joey Calhoun, Douglas Fozard and Michael Gibson; and his brothers-in-law, Bert Fozard, Varney Gibson and Arden Calhoun.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Hunter (MacDonald); his children, Keith Hunter (Janie), Denise Davis (Wade) and Michele Payne; his grandchildren, Paige Hunter (Mike), Tiffany Beyea (Brad), Michelle Davis (Devin), Scott Davis (Eva), Timmy Hunter and Tad Payne; his sister Barbara Fozard; and his brother-in-law Paul Inman. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
