He is survived by: his children, Aubrey Hunter (Beverly) of Geary, Mona Fairbairn (Dean) of Oromocto and Cynthia Jenkins (Shawn) of Geary; his grandchildren, Kirk, Lisa, Charlene and Andrea; his great grandchildren, Braydan, Maria and Nicholas; his great great grandchild Adina; his brother Winston Hunter (Rowena) of Fredericton; and his sisters-in-law, Emily Hunter of Astle and Edwina Hunter of Astle.
