He was predeceased by : his mother Marlene Elizabeth Whitney (Butland); and his father-in-law David Benjamin. He is survived by : his wife Karla Lee Whitney (Benjamin); his father Medley James Whitney; his siblings, Robert Whitney (Tracy), Linda Densmore (George), Barbara Pasch (Harry) and Elizabeth Mackie (Brian); and his mother-in-law Marilyn Benjamin. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
