He was predeceased by: his parents, Nazaire Savoie and Elizabeth Savoie (Gauvin); his sons, Greg and Mark; and his siblings, Jeanette, Bernadette, Claudine, George, Nazaire "Sune" and Amiee.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Roy, Brent and David (Catherine); his daughter-in-law Michelle Savoie; his siblings, Sylvia, Reginald, Denis, Eustache "Baba" and Gabriel; his grandchildren, Chelsey, Trevor, Cassidy, Morgan, Molly, Taylor, Logan, Peter, Beth, Mike and Alex; and his niece Denise. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
