He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Ward and Freda Ward; his sister Eileen Atkinson (Dave); and his sister-in-law Sheila Daigle. He is survived by: his wife Olive Ward; his children, Toby Daigle (Eris) and Tim Ward (Brigitte); his grandchildren, Alexandria Arsenault (Carlin), Jenna Whalen (Jesse), Ryan Daigle (Janica) and Chloé Ward; his great grandchildren, Hayes, Miles Arsenault, Morgan, Blaire Whalen and Marlee Daigle; his siblings, Ann Kelly (Jim), Ernie Ward (Irene) and Dale Ward (Sheri); his siblings-in-law, Gary Ryan (Sheila), Danny Ryan (Lynne), Dave Atkinson and Willah Ryan; and his close friends, John and Della Mazerolle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thompson's Funeral Home (33 Rue Acadie, Richibouctou, NB E4W 3V1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the St. Mark's Presbyterian Church Building Fund, Diabetes Canada, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
