He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Irvin McNair and Mary McNair; his wife Pearl; his children, James (Shirley) of Ridgeway, Allan (Margaret) of Sussex, David (Susan) of Moncton, Charles (Melody) of Bath and Miriam (Tony) of West Vancouver; and his sisters, Lois and Frieda. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
