With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret I. Drost of Bath, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Lloyd and Gertrude Lloyd; her husband Gailen Drost; her siblings, Douglas, Dale, Lance Lloyd and Kathleen Tyner; and her brother-in-law David Butt.
She is survived by: her children, Peter, Susan and Mike Drost (Somer); her grandchildren, Keono, Brycen, Ashley, Nicholas, Isaiah (Alexis), Cougar and Eric; her great grandchild Carter; her siblings, Loretta Butt of Calgary, AB, Twila Hitchcock (Brian) of Grand Bay, Colleen Dunbar (Mike) of Nackawic, NB, Nola Ashton of Truro, NS, Stephen (Edna) of Fredericton, NB and Brian (Serge) of Vancouver, BC; and her sisters-in-law, Ethel Lloyd and Marie Bustard-Lloyd. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1).
