She was predeceased by: her parents, Myles McCarthy and Adelia McCarthy (Dixon); her husband Thomas "Wayne" Clews; and her siblings, Mary McCarthy, Ethel Morrell, Mildred Demmings, Angus, Allison, Wayne and Robert McCarthy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelly DeViller (Rod) of Truro, NS and Linda Crockett (Dave) of Douglas, NB; her grandchildren, Jessica, Nicole, Madison, Brooklyn and Jillian; her stepchildren, Greg Clews (Patti Clews) of Fredericton, NB and Charlene Clews-Lucas of Saint John, NB; and her siblings, Carolyn McCarthy of California Settlement, NB, Patricia Sorensen (Richard) of Grand Falls, NB, Francis McCarthy (Kathleen) of Perth-Andover, NB, Alonzo McCarthy (Jeanelle) of St-Léonard, NB, Roland McCarthy (Carol) and Terrence McCarthy of Grand Falls, NB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
