He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Godin and Virginie Godin (Cormier); his wife Evelyn Godin (Doucet); his son Gerald; and his siblings, Patrick, Izella, Alfred, Délima, Léandre, Yvonne, Gérard, George, Dora and Jeanne.
He is survived by: his children, Rhéal (Rejeanne) of Bathurst, Angela Léger (Michel) of Bathurst, Adelma Godin (Gilles) of Beresford and Jeanne Boudreau (Donald) of Balmoral. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
