He is survived by: his mother Jeannette Roy (Arseneau); his siblings, Jean-Marc Roy (Orise) of Petit-Rocher, Camille Roy of Petit-Rocher, Michelle Roy (Guy Martin) of Pointe-Verte and Monique Roy of Bathurst; his brother-in-law Robert Godin of Petit-Rocher; his siblings' children, Tania, Christian and Émilie; his goddaughter Nadine; and his close friend Frankie Lapointe.
