He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Godin and Alexandrine Godin (Power); his former wife Lorraine (Constantineau); and his brothers, Hédard (Verena) and Adrien.
He is survived by: his wife Angella (Lanteigne); his children, Donald (Ann), Cory, Cathy (Bob), Serge (Linda) and Daniel (Tammy); his grandchildren, Guillaume, Courtney, Kyle, Logan, Lewis, Chase, Grayson, Tristan and Ashton; his great grandchild Jade; his siblings, Alfred (late Simonne), Stanley (Noëlla), Cecile (late Richard), Edmond (Desneiges), Marie-Berthe (Alyre), Adrianna (Roger), Adeline (late Leodoré) and Yvon (Lyna); and his sister-in-law Yolande.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Elhatton Funeral Home (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A1B6). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church (1575 St Peter Ave, Bathurst, NB E2A3B2).
