It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Smith Jr. (Bathurst, New Brunswick), born in New Bandon, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Reta Smith (Jagoe); and his siblings, Harper, Hales Smith, Neta Hicks, Rhoda Scott, Twila Ayer, Shirley Ayer and Betty Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Melba Smith; his children, Nora Graham (Scott), Hughie Smith (Eileen) and Hadley Smith (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Erinn, Becky, Derick, Matthew, Adam, Sarah and Carolyn; and his siblings, Leona and Harry Smith. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Junior may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
