She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Arseneau and Clothilda Arseneau (Glazier); her siblings, Doris and Barney; and her stepmother Hilda.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Duguay (Ralph), Claudette Maisonneuve (Hubert) and Alward Roy (Lois Bryanton); her grandchildren, Judson Duguay (Nadia), Frank Bélanger, Mathieu Maisonneuve (Adèle) and Ryan Maisonneuve (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Kaliyah, Aiyanah, Kayden and Emma; her sisters, Marguerite Bruno of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Arsenault (Ronald) of Bathurst, Anne Peto (Doug) of Bathurst, Carole Aubé (Jean-Pierre) of Bathurst and Theresa Arseneau of Saint John; and her friend Daniel Roy of Bathurst. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A lover of animals, donations in memory of Bertha may be made to the Bathurst SPCA of a favorite charity.
