She was predeceased by: her father William; and her sisters, Mary Godin (George), Clothilda Blanchard (Edward) and Geraldine Godin (Gérard). She is survived by: her husband Maurice Doucet of Bathurst; her children, Marc Doucet (Mary) of Bathurst, Luc Doucet of Bathurst and Nathalie Doucet (Jacob Lalkens) of Netherlands; and her grandchildren, Jesse Mark (Jesse) of Halifax, Mélanie (Mathieu), Élène (Joël) of Bathurst and Rachelle (Brandon) of Fredericton.

Donations in memory of Blanche may be made to the Chron's and Colitis Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
