We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2021, Brigitte Cowan of Bathurst, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Cowan; her parents, Médard Chiasson and Priscille Chiasson (Chiasson); her daughters, Betty-Ann and Evelyn; and her siblings, Virginie, Jeanne, Marie-Ange, Isidore, Georgie, Émile, Jean-Paul and Armand.

She is survived by: her children, Clétus (Claire) of Bathurst, Edward (Gisèle) of Bathurst, Herman (Ruth) of Janeville, Billy of Toronto, ON, Johnny of Toronto, ON, Howard of Toronto, ON, May Cowan (Jacques Perron) of Robertville and Gladys Jones (Paul) of Toronto, ON.; and her siblings, Anna Fosse of Florida, USA, Eliza Chiasson of Montréal, QC, Annette Kearns of Toronto, ON. and Donat Chiasson of Montréal, QC.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
