She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jacob Scott (Alison) and Larissa Scott; her grandchildren, Ben, Eva, Kaylee and Mayv; her parents, Jean-Robert Roy and Anne Marie Hachey; her brother Peter Roy (Kathleen); her siblings-in-law, Dee-Dee Scott, Dean Scott, Shannon Scott, Shauna Curtis (Jamie), Troy Scott (Annick) and Tammy Buchanan (Kevin); and her sibling's children, Johnson, Davie, James, Thomas, William and Charlie.

In honour of Carol, the family encourages donations to the Terry Fox Research Institute in her name.
