He is survived by : his father Chester LaPointe; his wife Shelley; his children, Dominic LaPointe of Bathurst and Rhianna LaPointe of Belledune; his siblings, Linda Devereaux (Robert) of Brampton, ON, Daren (Vera) of Jacquet River and Lisa LaPointe (David Jalbert) of Moncton. Several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations in memory of Chester may be made to the I. W. K. Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
