He was predeceased by: his wife Monique Harris of Bathurst; his parents, Mitchell Harris and Evelyn Harris (Perry); and his son Jason Harris. He is survived by: his children, Maurice Godin (late Kimberly Boyd-Godin) of Petit-Rocher and Brigitte Hogan (Terry White) of Moncton; his granddaughters, Melody Dawn Godin and Melanie Hogan; and his great grandchildren, Mileah, Alexis, Hailey and Josée.
