She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien Savoie and Alfreda Savoie (White); and her siblings, Claudette Chiasson (Albany), Monique Frenette (Jean Paul), Roger (Denise), Robert and Jean-Claude.
She is survived by: her husband Lucien Benoit; her sons, Stephane Duguay (Helene) and Jacques Duguay (Chris); her siblings, Jocelyne David (late Alfred) of Big River, Gisèle Ross (Paul) of Bathurst, Debbie Savoie of Bathurst, Raymond Savoie (late Fernande) of Bathurst, Gilles Savoie of Bathurst and Daniel Savoie (Lisa) of Robertville; her former husband Robert Duguay; her close friend Noella; and her godson Eric.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A 1B6). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Donations in Denise's memory can be made to the Bathurst SPCA in recognition for her love of animals especially her beloved Tyson.
