He was predeceased by: his parents, Roméo Mathurin and Relia Mathurin (Drouin). He is survived by: his wife Marielle Mathurin (Sigman) of Bathurst; his children, Andrée Mathurin-Scott (Trevor), Marc Mathurin and Lucie Mathurin (Dave); his grandchildren, Stephanie Boisclair (Max), Nicolette and Nadia Mathurin; and his great grandchild Téo Boisclair.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of his life will be celebrated at a later date.

Donations in memory of Edouard may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
