He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Colwell and Virginia Colwell (Morris); his former wife Lois; and his siblings, Walter 'Sonny', Kenny, June Stronge and Deborah Colwell.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Colwell (Cormier) of Bayshore; his children, Sonya LeBlanc (Luc) of Lower Sackville, NS, Michael (Charlene) of Bathurst, Matthew (Kelly) of Robertville, Kathy Barton (Doug) of Saint John, Mark (Laurie) of Saint John, Paul (Barb) of Saint John, Holly Hébert (David) of Saint John, Barb Reiker (Lucie) of Saint John, Patty Childs (Corey) of Saint John, Karen Colwell (Rob) of Saint John, Peter (Jacinthe) of Miramichi and Peggy McAuley (Terry) of Burton; his siblings, Linda Despres (Romeo) of Saint John, Judy Despres (late Louis) of Saint John and Ricky of Toronto; his close friends, Nelly and Tigger; and his grandson Spencer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, special friends.
