She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Mazerolle of Bathurst; her parents, Alexis Couture and Yvonne St-Pierre; and her brother-in-law Marcel. She is survived by : her son Jean-Yves (Marie-Line) of Bathurst; her granddaughter Maya; her brother Denis Couture (Anne Marie Lanteigne) of Edmonton, AB; her friends, Mariette, Pierrette and Diane; her mother-in-law Lorraine Thériault; and her siblings-in-law, Huguette (Delphis), Johanne (Benoit), Yvonne, Pauline (Mario), Michel (Eveline) and Jacques (Rose-Marie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations in memory of Emélia may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
