He was predeceased by: his wife Marie-Paule Gauthier of Bathurst; and his parents, Densmore Payne and Ida Payne (Bennett). He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Payne, Clothilda (Janissa), Laura and Barbara Weston (Thane); and his siblings-in-law, Réjeanne Gauthier, Bertand and Anthony. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
