He was predeceased by : his parents, Carmella Couture (Juliano) and Edward Couture. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Herzog Leech; his children, Carole Cousineau (Francis) and Mario Couture; his brother Gerard Couture (Judy); his stepdaughters, Tara Leech (Jeff), Colleen Robitaille (Jay) and Carrie Zweig (David); and his grandchildren, Pierce, Halle, Jonathan, Chloe, Madison, Jacob, Halley, Pearson, Riley, Olivia, Jayme, Lennon and Ever.

Donations in memory of George may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
